Terms and Conditions for TrailFam Community and School Programmes

Welcome to TrailFam! Your engagement with our trail running sessions signifies a step towards nurturing a profound connection with nature and community. By securing a booking for your child through the Class for Kids platform, you acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions outlined herein.

1. Acceptance of Terms

Your booking constitutes a binding agreement to these terms and conditions. Should you disagree with any section herein, it is advisable not to proceed with the booking.

2. Booking and Payment Procedures

  • Bookings are exclusively processed via the Class for Kids platform.
  • Payment in full is requisite at the time of booking to confirm your child's enrolment.
  • The stated session prices are subject to change and may be updated without prior notice.

3. Cancellation Policy and Refunds

  • We acknowledge that plans can change; however, TrailFam operates under a policy where refunds cannot be guaranteed.
  • Cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to the session start may be eligible for a partial refund. Please note, refunds will be issued less any fees incurred by the Class for Kids platform, as these are non-recoverable expenses for TrailFam.
  • Cancellations received within 48 hours of the session start time are not eligible for a refund.
  • Should TrailFam need to cancel a session for any reason, participants will have the option to receive a partial refund (less any platform fees) or transfer the booking to an alternative session.

4. Participant Eligibility

  • Sessions are designed for specific age groups; adherence to these age requirements is mandatory.
  • A consent form, completed and signed, is required for each participant prior to their initial session.
  • Appropriate attire and footwear for trail running are mandatory for all sessions. Participants must also bring their own water bottle.

5. Safety and Behaviour Expectations

  • TrailFam commits to fostering a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment. All participants are expected to conduct themselves with respect towards coaches, peers, and their surroundings.
  • Any participant found compromising the safety or enjoyment of others may be dismissed from a session without refund.

6. Health Considerations and Liability

  • Parents/guardians must inform TrailFam of any medical or special needs conditions that could affect a participant's safe engagement in activities.
  • TrailFam disclaims liability for injuries sustained during sessions, except in cases of direct negligence by TrailFam staff.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

  • The personal data collected through the booking process will be utilized solely for managing session attendance and will not be disclosed to third parties, except as mandated by law or with your explicit consent.

8. Amendments to Terms and Conditions

  • TrailFam reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. The most current version will be accessible on the Class for Kids platform.
